Technology Analysis

Comparative analysis of individual machines and complete recycling systems in order to find the right solution for any specific waste processing challenge.

Our technology analysis is based on practical, industrial experience. Theoretical capabilities and laboratory level solutions are often quite different from live processing scenarios with diverse input materials and hard-to-predict contaminants. In a high-investment, state of the art recycling plant ensuring reliable, continuous operations is top priority. This is not just an issue of throughput. Safety regulations, maintenance planning, operator ergonomy and the ability to adjust processing to the variations in the waste stream are equally important factors for consideration.

Technology is not the only key factor for successful recycling operations. Proper utilization depends on the continuous availability of the right amount of input materials in the right condition. At the same time, market conditions have to be favourable for selling the secondary raw materials resulting from industrial processing operations. In order to approach and reach circular economy targets envisioned by responsible policy making, the regulation frameworks for waste processing are continuously adjusted world wide. During our prior project activities we learned the importance of double-checking the market availability and logistics challenges related to our engineering solutions.

Industrial recycling plants and processing machines are high investment commodities requiring serious commitments both on the side of buyers and sellers. Solutions are usually tailor made to fit specific situations. Errors are expensive and scheduling is critical. Experience taught us to look for the fine print and work out all the details of our projects in the tendering / contractual phase. Based on our own experience of selling and buying recycling technology, we provide assistance for the compilation of tender documentations, the prelimiary check and analysis of bids and reviewing draft contracts.

Project Management

Project management support to enable smooth combination of technology chain elements and a no-nonsense launch of plant operations.

Constructing and assembling a new industrial recycling system is a complex task necessitating the co-ordination of a diverse team of professionals. From handshake to launch of operations strict supervision is required to track the progress of the project. During this process the roles and challenges of the participating enterprises are in continuous transition: a sales issue becomes a project execution issue and then becomes a maintenance and support issue. At the same time the buyer usually has to organize local subcontractors and prepare the core workforce responsible for running the new facility. We represent the interests of our clients in this process, ensuring the progress of the construction project according to schedule, performing continuous on-site inspections and verifying submitted documentations.
